Outdoor adventurers also love the rugged beauty of the mountains and surrounding valley which is great for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoes and kayaking, floating on inner tubes through ancient caves or down lazy rivers. Mountain Pine Ridge is known for its amazing natural wonders including numerous creeks and small rivers that lead to spectacular waterfalls and soaring vistas. Few resorts in the area offer such a central location to explore everything Cayo can offer you.

The international airport is just a 75 minute ride to our front door down the Western Highway. Turn Left on Mountain Pine Ridge road and we are just two miles from the highway, a nice quick ride on the bumpy road. You can drive here easily, or we would be happy to arrange to pick you up at the airport or the Water Taxi terminal.

How to Travel to Belize from Canada and Europe:
There are no non-stop flights from Europe to Belize. You can fly to one of airport in USA listed above. Another (preferable for many) option is to fly to Cancun and from there come to Belize by air or luxury bus transport.
Driving to Western Highway From Philip Goldson International Airport
Exit the International Airport until you get to the junction of the Airport road and the Northern Highway. Make a left turn onto the Northern Highway for about 7 miles. You will get to the Burrell Boom Junction. A traffic checkpoint will be ahead of this left turn off. Make a left turn off unto the Burrell Boom road. Continue driving until you pass the Belize Prison and continue for about 2 more miles to Hattieville Circle. Make the right turn from the circle and proceed to Western Highway and follow it to Georgesville.
